The Como Silk Museum is the only museum in the world that explains the whole production process, from silkworms to colored yarns, from hand printing to fashion.
The Como Silk Museum, supported by funding from PNRR and European Union's NextGenerationEU program, is enhancing its exhibition model to promote greater accessibility and participation in culture. With a focus on private museums and cultural spaces, this project aims to remove both physical and cognitive barriers that may limit access for certain audiences. The new exhibition model will be fully implemented by June 2023, offering a multisensory and immersive experience that caters to diverse needs and preferences.
