Over 6,000 years have passed since an Italian couple has been locked in an embrace.
The couple lay facing one another, arms and legs entwined, ensconced in the fetal position. For over 6,000 years, they have remained in that position. The near-perfectly preserved remains of two Neolithic-era humans were found in 2007, locked in an embrace outside the Italian village of Valdaro.
