Must See Places

About

It is an opulent feast for the eyes to see this hidden Art Nouveau courtyard.

Just a stone's throw away from the renowned Trevi Fountain and jazzy Via del Corso is a hidden courtyard that transports one back to the apex of Art Nouveau. Its lustrous frescoes and vivid colors are an absolute joy to behold, providing a much-needed reprieve from the dull antiquated Roman ruins scattered around the capital. This luxuriant courtyard was erected in late 19th century for the affluent Sciarra dynasty, meant to be a shopping center which undeniably would have been one of the most fairytale-like malls in Rome.
