There is a myth that saying the name of this town out loud will bring bad luck.
A scenic sliver of Italy's countryside, this bucolic town sits atop a bed of rolling green hills. As many Italians are aware, there is a dark force lurking within this picturesque scene that has haunted the settlement for centuries. Because saying the name of Colobraro is believed to bring bad luck, the locals refer to it as “That Town” (Chillu Paese in the local dialect). As such, it is also known as the “town of misfortune.”
