The early record of the Uviglie Castle date back to the thirteenth century, making it a historically significant construction.
More than five centuries have passed since the first vine was planted within the properties of the Uviglie Castle. Today, as then, this cultivation preserves the identity of the castle and of a territory. The same one that is characterized by an exceptional terroir made of solitary bricchi, white earth and thousand-year-old underground quarries.
