Mussolini's rebuilding efforts in 1929 revealed four Republican victory temples sunken 20 feet below modern street level that lie sunken in Largo di Torre Argentina, also known as Largo di Torre Argentina. There is also a portion of Pompey's famous portico at Torre Argentina, in addition to the remains of four temples.
