About
The Polli Stoppani Foundation was established in 2009 by Anna Maria Stoppani to honor her late husband, lawyer Vittorio Polli.
It was created with the goal of continuing the couple's philanthropic work and supporting their first project, the Museo della Valle in Zogno. The Foundation's main focus is on providing assistance to those in need, particularly the elderly, women, children, and struggling families. Another key aspect is promoting culture through preserving local history and raising awareness about social issues. The Foundation is located at Via San Giacomo 9 in Palazzo Polli e Stoppani in Bergamo Alta. This historical building houses not only the Foundation's offices and event spaces, but also a House Museum featuring a valuable private collection donated by the Founders and regularly augmented with new works and installations.
