About

The inception of Marelia gallery can be credited to Paola Silvia Ubiali.

After completing her studies in modern literature with a focus on art at the University of Milan, she gained valuable experience working as a foreign salesperson and later as a collaborator in ancient and modern art galleries. Eventually, her passion for contemporary art, especially from the 1960s onwards on an international scale, prompted her to establish the gallery. In March 2009, it opened its doors with an exhibition dedicated to the International Madi Movement, which has since become the go-to destination for Italian enthusiasts. The gallery takes pride in its strong emphasis on the local community, evident through its partnerships with various institutions such as Fondazione Creberg, Fondazione Adriano Bernareggi, Accademia Tadini in Lovere, Accademia di Belle Arti Carrara, Botanical Garden "Lorenzo Rota," as well as private partners like Spazio Arte Audi hangar and Accorhotels hotel chain.
