Must See Places

About

This structure, sometimes referred to as the Square Colosseum, is a superb illustration of rationalist architecture from the fascist era.

If you need a respite from the obvious sights to see, take public transit to the little-visited EUR district south of Rome, which is home to Mussolini's planned world exposition (which was later scrapped due to World War II), until Fendi set up shop there in 2015. It's an stunning example of symmetry and stone, stark in its grandeur and a silent witness to the follies of mankind.
