About

With the occasional propaganda film opportunity thrown in, this studio was built by fascists for the purpose of "reviving the film industry".

In Italian cinema, there once was a nerve center called Cinecittà Studios. Before it became the center of Italian film production, Cinecittà Studios were Mussolini's propaganda playground. The studio was inaugurated by Mussolini himself in 1937, and after he handed over the keys to Luigi Freddi, production began.
