About
The Piacentinian Centre, an urban architectural complex in Bergamo's lower district, was established in 1907 as a hub for business and tertiary activities such as financial institutions, commercial venues, and administrative offices.
Its name pays homage to the Roman architect Marcello Piacentini, who was its main designer. Complementing Piacentini's work, local architects Luigi Angelini, Giovanni Muzio and Ernesto Suardo also played a role in creating this impressive structure. Today, the centre not only serves as a vital economic and financial center but also draws tourists with its striking architecture.
