About
Palazzo Strozzi is one of Florence's most iconic Renaissance palaces.
The palace was built between 1489 and 1538 by the Strozzi family, a wealthy and influential Florentine family. It was designed by the architect Benedetto da Maiano, and later renovations were carried out by Giorgio Vasari. Originally, Palazzo Strozzi served as the family’s residence. Its design was intended to showcase the family's wealth and status in Florence.
