Must See Places

About

An strange piece of architecture where the courtyard's triglyphs on the walls create an optical illusion.

It was built on an islet outside the city walls by Federico II Gonzaga in 1524 as a pleasure palace. The palace was built to impress visitors and displays some monumental frescos in rooms such as the Camera dei Giganti, a secret garden with a fake grotto, and nowadays, a small Egyptian museum.
