The Basilica di San Lorenzo is a significant historical and architectural landmark, located in the heart of the city at Piazza San Lorenzo.

Known for its Renaissance architecture and rich history, the basilica is closely associated with the Medici family, who were major patrons of the church and are buried there. The church was originally founded in the 4th century and rebuilt in the 15th century by the renowned architect Filippo Brunelleschi. Its design features a simple, yet elegant, Renaissance style with a distinctive dome and harmonious proportions.
