Established in 1975, Cascina Sòt is an agricultural venture in Monforte d'Alba that focuses on crafting exceptional Piedmontese wines. Maria and Giuseppe, who had been sharecroppers at the company for many years, eventually purchased the property themselves. When their son Leonardo and his wife Silvana joined the team, winemaking became the primary focus of the business. Today, Cascina Sòt cultivates their own vineyards, including some situated in renowned Barolo crus. By meticulously tending to each vine, they are able to harvest high-quality grapes that are then carefully processed to highlight the unique characteristics of each varietal. Through aging, these wines develop additional complexity and subtle aromas. From their humble cellar come impeccable labels that showcase the meticulous attention given to every stage of production. These expressive wines truly capture the essence of their variety and terroir.
