About
There are twelve wide-ranging residences on The Borgo, each with a distinct personality in terms of furnishings and details.
Around 1444, a small Benedictine monastery was built "extra moenia," or outside the walls, and other settlements were added, forming the "little village" at the foot of Assisi, a welcoming outpost of the city.
Borgo evokes tradition, a way of life that is communal, synergistic, and sustainable. It has the flavor of intimacy, reservedness, and familiarity.
