Positanesi have been travelers since the early Middle Ages, traversing seas and oceans to make connections.
No matter where they go, they carry their "vertical" town with us. Wherever they find themselves, whether it be on a bustling New York street or in their hometown, the image of the azure Mediterranean in front and towering mountains behind remains etched in their minds like a hazy film. As inhabitants of this unique land, flat landscapes and straight roads feel foreign to them. They are accustomed to a place where there are only two directions: up or down. Their routes never take them directly from point A to B; they meander from A towards Z before finally reaching H, Q, or X.
