Golf Courses

About

One of Italy's oldest and most prominent golf clubs is the Acquasanta Golf Club in Rome.

Circolo del Golf di Roma Aquasanta, the oldest golf course in the nation, was built in 1903 as a 9-hole course (it expanded to 18 holes in 1913) along Via Appia in the south-east of Rome, about 3 miles from the Colosseum.
