A traditional parkland trail that is laid out across a slightly undulating environment with sufficient elevation.
The first golf club to open in the northern Italian area of Emilia-Romagna was Golf Club Bologna, which was founded in 1958. When Ken Cotton and John Harris were still working together, they developed the course. Peter Alliss later made changes to the layout in the late 1990s.
