With the help of numerous local tourism entrepreneurs, the city of Cervia established the Adriatic Golf Club in 1984.
The Cervia Town Council founded the Adriatic Golf Club in 1984, and this was made possible by the initiative and dedication of various local businesspeople involved in the tourism sector. Thus, the long-established seaside resorts Cervia and Milano Marittima added a new feature that has brought an increasing number of golf aficionados to the region over time. The Club now has 27 holes after a new course was created in 2004 to the prior nine-hole greens.
