Three projects in Italy have been finished by the Arnold Palmer Design Company, one of which being La Pavoniere Golf & Country Club.
A mid-1980s design, La Pavoniere Golf & Country Club is located on a former Prince Leopoldo de' Medici estate. This area of Tuscany has a somewhat flat environment, therefore substantial amounts of soil had to be moved in order to create some curves around the estate. This earth movement has resulted in several small, connected lakes that now present their own unique strategic challenge on both the front and back nine.
