La Bagnaia Golf Resort's leisurely pace of life
The structures that make up the resort were constructed a very long time ago; the hamlets' earliest records date to the early Middle Ages, most likely around the year 800 A.D. while the Barbarians controlled Italy. The village experienced a long period of prosperity until the population began to decline. Several decades later, when the illustrious Jacopo Bichi purchased the entire estate, including all the residences, cultivated fields, springs, and woods, the village experienced a resurgence.
