With more than 145 years of history, today they bring Italian taste and lifestyle to the world with 350 chocolate recipes and 90 flavors of ice cream.
Our story begins in 1878 when Silviano Venchi, a young boy of 20, spent all his savings to buy two bronze cauldrons and began experimenting with chocolate in a small place in via degli Artisti, in Borgo Vanchiglia in Turin.
Those experiments went so well that, after a short while, Nougatine was born. A crunchy chopped and caramelized hazelnut covered in extra dark chocolate. People named it "the most elegant chocolate shop in Piedmont" and as the "Supplier of the Royal House".
