Cà-Ri-Co is the first Cocktail Bistrot dedicated to casual-dining and drinking in the heart of Milan.
Unlike many of the city's traditional drinking establishments, Carico—headed by renowned bartender Dom Carella—offers a modern yet relaxed take on food and drink. The open, modern interior features ivy hanging from the ceiling. In addition to using a range of intriguing ingredients and preparation methods, the carefully considered and tasteful cocktail selection also places a strong emphasis on sustainability.
The drinks menu is subject to weekly changes, but certain cocktails—like the signature Capsicum Funky, which perfectly embodies Carico's philosophy—have remained the same since the bar's opening in March 2020. A simple glass of clear liquid with a single block of ice holds a mixture of white chocolate, jalapeño, and redistilled tequila, along with clementine liqueur and citric acid.
