Dedicated to Sandro, a child with an open heart to the world, Il Pane di Sandro was inaugurated on May 18th in Como.
It is a bakery where individuals with disabilities or facing difficult social and economic situations have the opportunity to work. The project is supported by the Cometa association, a reception network in Como that strives to promote social integration and employment for young people with disabilities. The initiative is a tribute to Sandro, as explained by the association who described him as "a silent friend by our side every day". The bakery, named after him, serves as a meeting place where visitors can see Sandro's spirit reflected in the faces of other Cometa friends such as Giovanna, Clarissa, Filippo, Antonio, and many more who are vital to the success of Cometa and will visit us.
