Founded in 1918, Porta 1918 has a rich history rooted in Gonnosfanadiga, a town renowned for its exceptional bread and oil production and diverse natural surroundings near Mount Linas.

The year of their establishment also marks the creation of their signature sourdough by grandmother Chiara, which inspired the birth of "Panificio Porta". Over the course of four generations and nearly one century, they have expanded beyond bread to include desserts and pasta, as well as various services like educational workshops and catering. Despite their growth, the driving force behind their success remains grandmother Chiara's passion for using local ingredients and constant drive for improvement through her beloved sourdough starter.
