Jazz legends such as Miles Davis, and Tony Bennett, and modern stars like Diana Krall have performed here, offering a blend of classic and contemporary jazz, funk, and even elements of rock and pop.

What makes the Umbria Jazz Festival unique is not just its music but its integration with the enchanting city of Perugia. The event is enlivened by street musicians and impromptu performances, creating a festive atmosphere that spreads throughout the city. Food stalls and local eateries offer a taste of Umbrian cuisine, with specialties like truffles, porchetta, and fine wines enhancing the sensory experience.

Visitors can also expect a variety of workshops and masterclasses, often conducted by the performing artists themselves. These sessions provide insights into jazz techniques and history, making it a holistic cultural and educational experience.
